Born in Angeles City, Philippines, and raised in the Bronx, New York, ELUS, also known as The Kindgenius, is a recording artist, award winning audio engineer, producer, and artist manager whose career spans nearly three decades. A founding member of Bronx hip hop group TRIBORO and co-owner of FMR Studios since 1997, he recorded Brucie B’s vocals on “The Definition” for Nas’ Grammy winning album King’s Disease, and was named Engineer of the Year at the 2021 All Star Music Awards. Today he manages award winning Bronx R&B artist B.Ankha, and runs Sign My Check Publishing, ELUS Artist Advantage, the ELUS Music Business Academy, and the No Beat Needed network.
